Reclaiming Myself
Oaxaca & Zipolite, Mexico

Breaking My Own Rules

Picture
It was a chilly night and morning at altitude, which explains why I have my shirt buttoned all the way up!
After spending the night on the carpet of the world's busiest airport, Atlanta International, I was off to D.F.(Mexico City) early the next morning, almost.  After showing up two minutes late for lack of knowledge concerning Delta Airlines new policy for non-revenue passengers, and being refused permission to fly, I kindly asked the gate agent to book me on the next flight.  I was silently cursing the agent behind my smile for being very rude to me and making me feel like this was my first time traveling on Delta.  A few minutes later I heard there had been a gate change due to my original flight I tried to get on being cancelled.  I felt bad, but I couldn't help but enjoy my little victory as I wouldn't have made that flight anyway!
